Professional Profile

Dr. Kendriana Price brings over a decade of experience in educational and community engagement roles. Her career includes serving as a county extension educator in Christian County, KY, and as a middle school community liaison for Metro Nashville Public Schools. She has held multiple positions within the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, where she currently serves as Assistant Dean in the Office of Access, Community, and Engagement.

Guided by a deep commitment to service, Dr. Price actively contributes both on and off campus. She proudly serves as the MANRRS National President-Elect and advises the eight-time National Chapter of the Year, UK MANRRS. She coordinates Lexington’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. March, serves on the steering committee for the Leadership Lexington Youth Program, and is a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, through the Beta Gamma Omega Chapter. On campus, her leadership extends to the Wildcat Forum, where she serves as the immediate past-chair of the board.

Her impact has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named an Unapologetically Woman Honoree by the Lexington Community Action Council and receiving the Living Legacy Catalyst Award from the University of Kentucky’s Martin Luther King Center. She is a graduate of Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County (2015), Leadership Lexington (2021), and the 2024 Academic Leadership Development Institute (ALDI) cohort, led by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. Most recently, she was selected as a member of Cohort 21 of the Food Systems Leadership Institute (FSLI), a national program that prepares leaders to advance the food system.

In her free time, Dr. Price enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and taking naps on the beach. She lives by the mantra: “I am a gem. Whatever I set my mind to, I will accomplish.”
